The XIII International Conference "modern trends in the development of academic libraries" was held at a high level within the walls of the University. 
   The three-day international scientific and practical conference was devoted to the discussion of topical issues such as the development of academic libraries, digitalization processes, the introduction of innovative technologies and new approaches to library resource management.
   The conference was attended by experts from different countries of the world, representatives of universities and scientific libraries, who shared their experience and scientific views.
   During the meeting, the director of the library and Information Center Gulzhan Irzhanova presented the speakers with certificates and thanked them for their active participation in the conference. In his speech, he noted that scientific meetings at the international level will give impetus to the development of the library industry and strengthen the exchange of experience between specialists. He expressed confidence that joint projects and cooperation in the development of academic libraries will continue in the future. 
   On behalf of the Association of libraries of Universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the badge "for contribution to the development of the library" was awarded to the director of the Scientific Library of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abai and the director of the library of the West Kazakhstan Medical University named after Marat Ospanov.
    The conference was supported by a number of sponsors and partners. The general sponsor was the company "EDP Hub – Kazakhstan".    At the end of the conference, the guests noted the professional organization of the university staff, attentive attitude and respect for each guest. In addition, he thanked the management of the University and wished the continuation of such meaningful meetings in the future.
